At The Dreamer’s Outlet we strive to inspire creativity through self expression, foster compassion by sharing our stories, and build community with like-minded enthusiasts.  We also seek to be a safe space for individuals who are just starting to explore their creative potential.  We believe that creative expression can be a powerful tool for healing trauma and nurturing one’s well-being.

We do this by expressing ourselves through creative outlets that bring joy and help us heal as individuals.  A creative outlet can come in any form: baking, athleticism, film making, make-up artistry, face painting, business startups, comedy, art, science, entrepreneurship, DJing.  As we heal and thrive through our outlets, the collective heals and thrives. We therefore nurture our communities by nurturing our own talents.

Outlets! An Outlet is a real-time meeting space, where Dreamers, creators and community members can gather and share the latest on their creative projects.  Often there is a reading/video/audio/visual share that sets the topic for the session.  After the sharing of the topic, the facilitator goes first in presenting the latest development of their creative project, open-mic style, while tying in a response to the topic.  Then anyone in attendance can give feedback, flowers, resources or ask questions to help the development of the idea.

When someone attends an Outlet without a project in motion but searching for an idea, that’s when the real magic begins!  The collective supports that guest through asking questions and sprinkling in a bit of our own creativity and imagination. With this process, we can almost always guide a Dreamer to the creative outlet waiting to be discovered and, BOOM, a Dream is born.
